Iveco have announced the New Iveco Stralis XP heavy vehicle truck will fit the next generation of Michelin X® LINE™ Energy™ tyres as standard. According to the European Tyre Label measure the X® LINE™ Energy™ range is the first range to acheive an A grade rolling resistance ratings for the drive, steer & trailer positions.
"With the New Stralis, we had the goal of achieving up to a 11 per cent fuel saving, depending on the mission. We achieved the TCO and CO₂ reduction objectives by redesigning the driveline for the Stralis, and by working with the best suppliers in our industry. Michelin and Iveco have announced an agreement on tyre management system for commercial vehicle fleet operators, as part of Iveco’s TCO ₂ Live programme.
