Iveco have said they will have their biggest presence at the CV Show 2016 this year and will showcase their Euro VI heavy-duty diesel engines SCR-Only (Selective Cataytic Reduction) trucks in an outdoor display. Amongst their range they will be presenting the award winning 15-tonne New Eurocargo (150E25) and 18 tonne New Eurocargo (180E25/P) . A Trakker 8×4 rigid (AD340T36K) and top-of-the-range Stralis Hi-Way tractor unit (AS440S56TX/P) will also feature.
The trucks use Iveco’s patented HI-SCR engine technology to cut emissions without the need for EGR (exhaust gas recirculation).
Because there is no driver involvement or downtime from active regeneration HI-SCR increases productivity by using no fuel to burn particulates or lost energy for cooling exhaust gases.
