Following the recent launch of Scania Direct, which provides operators with a single point of contact to the entire UK Scania dealer used vehicle stock, Scania has further simplified the pre-owned vehicle sourcing and acquisition process with the release of an all-new Used Vehicle app. Available from Apple's App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android), the easy-to-use app allows users to locate their ideal vehicle in just a few clicks.
"Our Used Vehicle app is a bespoke product designed and built by Scania for Scania customers – as such, finding used vehicles of the required specification has never been easier," says Used Vehicles Sales Director, Tony Tomsett. "The app is linked to Scania Direct, which means our full range of stock nationwide can be accessed via the user's mobile device. Once a suitable vehicle has been located, an in-built contact system puts customers directly in touch with their local sales representative to progress the enquiry. In this way, the app makes the acquisition process not only simple but also as convenient as possible."
The Scania Used Vehicle app includes an advanced set of search filters to help customers locate the exact vehicle type they are looking for quickly and efficiently. From the search results, a detailed specification of each selected vehicle is displayed, together with a full screen image. Searches can be saved and should the customer require further details, pre-populated information requests can be emailed in directly to Scania Direct.
